The beans from various farmers in Bensa are sun-dried on raised beds, allowing for even drying over 10-14 days until they reach the perfect moisture level. We roast this coffee on the lighter side of medium to highlight its unique flavors and aromas. Ethiopia Bensa G2 boasts distinct notes of nectarine and black tea, complemented by a subtle toffee sweetness. By enhancing agronomical and picking practices, and leveraging Inmaculada’s expertise, Fellows Farms helps local farmers meet specialty coffee standards and secure better prices. The project aims to showcase the farmers' efforts to international markets with full traceability. The farmers, including the Mujeres Caficultoras de Pescador Caldono Cauca AMCAPEC association, work across 60 hectares in Tambo, Piendamó, and Caldono. They use agroforestry techniques to protect their crops from adverse weather. Fellows Farms coffee is known for its clean profile, with citric and delicate tropical notes, sweet chocolate, raw sugar, and juicy acidity. Each lot is electronically sorted and accompanied by a detailed technical sheet, ensuring complete traceability and quality assurance.
